I survived

 When sky set down at nightfall begin,

The moments of my past made a slight grin,

The things that killed me didn't kill me anymore

The people that meant the world to me didn't mean the world to me anymore,

But I just feel grateful,

To collect memories along the way,

To try and live my life to the fullest,

But maybe as wise men say,

Forever is for memories not for people,

Maybe regrets were hard but managed to close fresh wounds,

Or maybe it was an illusion of a spark that could've lasted longer,

But at the end,

I lived,

I powered through it,

I survived.
